Given - Little he could do with a freak goal and two superb strikes. Noticeable that he lacked some of the presence Hart does though. 6

Richards - Struggled as Poznan dominated the first half and restricted in his forays forward. 6

Bridge - A poor performance. Gets in good possessions but little end reward. With Kolarov's return there appears little opportunity ahead. 5

Lescott - His best performance of the season. Looked far more mobile and commanding than in recent times. 6.5

Boyata - Was fairly sound for the most part but mistake on the goal perhaps over-emphasised. 6

Vieira - Should have been the game for him to control but struggled to impose himself on the game. 5.5

Zabaleta - Has performed capably in midfield three previously but lacked a little on this occasion. 5.5

Milner - Again central and adequate without really standing out. Expected better. 6

Wright-Phillips - Clearly needs a lengthy run to find form and confidence but little chance of getting it based on current performances. 5

Johnson - Possibly the best on show. Flipped between right and left but always posed a threat. 6.5

Adebayor - Again on the scoresheet and a decent all-round game. 6.5

Silva - Provided the spark and invention but missed a good chance at 2-1 late on. 6.5

Kolarov - A long awaited return and showed enough to suggest he will make the spot his own. 6

Kompany - Came on to steady the midfield but lost possession for the third goal. 5.5
