Bellamy injury worry

From the official site:

Craig Bellamy is out of Tuesday night's game against Bolton with a knee injury.

The striker has travelled to London to see a specialist, but City manager Roberto Mancini is hopeful that the problem is not as serious as previous injuries for the Welshman.

Craig is in London today, by tomorrow we should know how serious this injury is but at the moment I do not think it is too bad," revealed the manager.

"He reported the problem after the game on Saturday and it was important that he was checked out as soon as possible."

The likelihood is that Adam Johnson will get his first start tomorrow evening, but the concern will be as to the extent of Bellamy's injury given his history.

We should know more on this over the next twenty-four hours or so.
