Around SBN: The Pros and Cons of an 18-game NFL Schedule

Bolton ratings

Given - One very good save but a couple of uncharacteristic self-induced errors. 6

Zabaleta - Solid defensively. No mistakes. 6.5

Bridge - Very bright early on, and had plenty of opportunity to get forward and create. 6.5

Toure - Forced off with injury and struggled at times to cope with the physical Davies. 6

Kompany - Surprise return to the side. Solid again and justified his selection ahead of Lescott. 6.5

de Jong - Started every game under Mancini and will continue to do so. Has become a key figure. 7

Vieira - Added calmness in midfield. Didn't offer a great deal going forward but a nice ball for Adebayor's goal. 6.5

Barry - Slightly overshadowed in the midfield trio but didn't put a foot wrong. 6

Johnson - A slow start but grew into the game and a confident display overall. 7.5

Tevez - Largely a peripheral figure but his usual bundle of energy. 6.5

Adebayor - Anonymous for the most part but took his goal very well. 6.5

Subs:

Lescott - Good to see him back and slotted in well enough. 6

Wright-Phillips - A couple of bright moments over the last twenty minutes or so. 6

Sylvinho - Introduced late. No time for any real impact. 6
