Given - Barely tested and had little to do. Distribution wayward at times. 6.5

Onouha - Looked comfortable in the role and becoming more of a contributor in attack. 7

Toure - Covered for Kompany on a couple of occasions and remained strong throughout. 7

Kompany - Tense and nervy performance early but regained his composure. 6.5

Bridge - A good return to the side. Coped well with Valencia and went close a couple of times. 7

de Jong - A real leader. Strong in the tackle, determined and held the midfield together. 8

Barry - Solid if unspectacular. Missed a real opportunity to score though. 6.5

Johnson - Started brightly but faded as Evra came more into the game. 6.5

Bellamy - Not one of his better games. Tireless but lacked the end result. 6

Tevez - Waspish and willing but couldn't carve any chances out. 6.5

Adebayor - Always offered himself but struggled with the pace at times. 6.5
