Per ESPN Soccernet, six players from Manchester City have been named to the England squad for their upcoming two Euro '12 qualifying matches. Joe Hart, Joleon Lescott, Adam Johnson, James Milner, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Gareth Barry will suit up for the English. The entire squad:
Goalkeepers: Scott Carson, Ben Foster, Joe Hart
Defenders: Gary Cahill, Ashley Cole, Michael Dawson, Kieran Gibbs, Phil Jagielka, Glen Johnson, Joleon Lescott, Matthew Upson
Midfielders: Gareth Barry, Michael Carrick, Steven Gerrard, Adam Johnson, James Milner, Theo Walcott, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Ashley Young
Strikers: Darren Bent, Carlton Cole, Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe, Wayne Rooney
You hope the players remain in good form, but moreso that injuries are avoided. Five of the six Blues have been regular starters for Roberto Mancini in the 2010-11 season.
