PrintAlthough Shay Given has opted to remain at the club, there is plenty of speculation surrounding other possible departures - notably Robinho, Emnanuel Adebayor and Roque Santa Cruz..
Could there even be a late deal to bring someone to the club before todays 6pm GMT deadline?

Edin Dzeko
Man City is expected to pay for Dzeko and their not taking no for an answer according to multiple football and blog sources. However I find this highly unlikely seeing that their playing a lone striker attack with Tevez and have Silva on the bench who they paid 24 mil for. I am 50/50 on this, I hope he does go there because currently Dzeko is among the top 3 finishers in the game and with a team like City he could put up 6-0 Chelsea reincarnations (I wish). He is also at this stage much better then Tevez, in the air, 1-1 and long distance. He will also improve in the EPL if he moves there, however if he does end up in City I don’t know how much playing time he will receive. The EPL has spelled death to many former Ex-Yugo football stars, so far Vidic is the only one who has survived :-/.
