Manchester City name 25 man squad for Premier League selection
Roberto Mancini has confirmed his 25 man squad today, meaning that these 25 players are eligible for selection in English Premier League matches. Also available are any players under the age of 21 (they did not have to be included on the squad), such as Mario Balotelli and Dedryck Boyata. There are no restrictions on FA Cup or Carling Cup squad selections.
The team, per the club's official website:
Keepers: Shay Given, Joe Hart, Stuart Taylor.
Defenders: Jerome Boateng, Wayne Bridge, Aleksander Kolarov, Vincent Kompany, Joleon Lescott, Shaleum Logan, Micah Richards, Kolo Toure, Pablo Zabaleta.
Midfielders: Gareth Barry, Nigel de Jong, Adam Johnson, Michael Johnson, James Milner, David Silva, Yaya Toure, Patrick Vieira, Shaun Wright-Phillips.
Forwards: Emmanuel Adebayor, Jo, Roque Santa Cruz, Carlos Tevez.

None; that I know of. Michael Johnson is the real surprise (as far as additions), while Santa Cruz is only sightly surprising.

25-man squad
With the departures over the past couple of weeks, it seemed certain Johnson would be included – even if not ready for action for 6 weeks or so.
The last spot was therefore down to Shaleum Logan or Kelvin Etuhu, two Academy graduates (but over aged 21). No surprise really that Logan was selected, especially with the injuries to Kolarov and Bridge as he can fill in there.
Neither Logan or Etuhu have any real future with the club though.

You will need guys who work hard in training and willing to ride the bench. For those last 2-3 spots since they will likely get No playing time outside of Cups and Blowout Wins
