Really? I am DVR’ing the match and have not watched but every account I can find on-line says it is a legit penalty.
Every account I've seen says it wasn't a penalty..
And added to that, whenever a ‘foul’ like that is committed, especially the way Agger goes down like he has been shot in the thigh, normally players say hey look at the studs markings on my thigh..
Big players make big plays
But then again, we'll leave these things to proper replays and such after the match.. could've been legit too

BBC Account:
From that corner, Joe Hart made another superb stop to keep out Stewart Downing’s deflected shot but the Reds’ pressure evntually tells. City fail to clear the next corner too, and Stefan Savic gets all of the man and none of the ball as he tangles with Daniel Agger. Lee Mason points to the spot, and Steven Gerrard buries his penalty into the bottom corner. No saving that.
Guardian
12 mins: From the second corner Agger half-controls the ball on his chest but his attempt to chase down the ball is ended when Savic cluelessly raises a boot high into his knee. Penalty!
So? Commentators are commentators. Not referees. People said the same thing to City fans about how all the pundits said Kompany's red shouldn't have been given. By that picture, you could say Savic's boot is behind Agger as well.. we don't see the contact

not even touched
repeat not even touched
we get done over by the refs
and by our draws we have had the worst draws ever
champions league group of death (having to play Napoli first)

These are some douchebag UK announcers who just mock Balotelli.
He’s a funny guy, but come on, be a bit more professional.
My stream went out at the end but I heard Glen Johnson went in 2 feet on a tackle??

I didn't see it, because I was at work and had the game-tab hidden during that time.
BBC:
2150: Hmmmm. Replays of that Glen Johnson tackle indeed confim it was definitely two-footed. He won the ball, of course, but that doesn’t matter anymore, does it?
