The game

is pretty much getting bossed by Spurs. I think we’re getting beaten 1-3.

Awful stuff

from Dezeko. Getting in the way of Aguero’s shot. Echoes of Wigan. But we cant afford that sort of thing vs Spurs

Great goals from Nasri and Lescott then Savic had to ruin it

Lucky to get away with that one. But sometimes you need a bit of luck. Or a lot. Dzeko was awful, couldn’t control the ball, couldn’t pass. It was like watching 10 footballers and a cart horse.

Dzeko was terrible

He is useless from further away than the penalty spot. Been saying that for like a year now. Can we please just start Balo and Aguero together..

In the end its 3 points in a great game

I’m sure Spurs fans and some media will be talking about how Mario shouldn’t have been on the pitch blah blah well guess what, you get some calls and you don’t get some calls. Webb must not have seen it, maybe the FA will ban him. We got screwed over by the ref at Sunderland, Spurs got screwed here. Stuff evens out. King made a god awful tackle and they got a gift goal too.

Five thoughts before Danny does a better job at it

1. Michah was interviewed the other day and said that if you make a mistake more than once, you end up deep in Mancini’s doghouse. This does not bode well for Stefan Savic.

2. There is a growing constituency that believes all City fouls and non-fouls are red card offenses, punishable by expulsion, suspension and draw and quartering. Don’t be surprised if Balotelli and/or Kompany are watching the next game on a big screen TV. Be outraged but don’t be surprised.

3. I’ve been an Edin Dzeko fan all season but, lord, he and Aguero are like fire and water out there.

4. If Balotelli were an NBA player, he would average 10 free throws a game. He can really draw fouls.

5. This was the kind of win that most fans expect out of Man United. Every time the red menace is down, they find a way to crawl back in. In the 1-6 game, lost amongst the euphoria was the genuine concern we all had (and you did, don’t lie) when Fletcher scored. It was 1-3 with ten minutes to play but you can’t say you weren’t concerned. Well, today, the Citizens picked up a little of that late game mojo. Another result like this and opponents will be wracked with nerves no matter how far behind we are.
