Liverpool v City: Confirmed teams and game thread
The teams are in as City bid to overturn the one goal deficit from Liverpool's 1-0 victory at The Etihad Stadium a fortnight ago.
In somewhat of a surprise, Roberto Mancini has not started with Sergio Aguero, instead bringing in Aleksandar Kolarov to bolster the midfield numbers whilst Nigel de Jong returns to the side in place of James Milner:

Charlie Adam
How does he not get more yellows? Worst tackler in the PL until Scholes came back. Can’t understand why he doesn’t have a rep like De Jong, who’s tackles are often more physical, but in actuality clean as he take the ball.
Did you catch Phil Dowd?
Walked right by the City players, including Micah, after Gerrard converted. He was clearly looking for somebody to say something which Micah did. He was looking for trouble, Mr. Dowd, because he blew it and he knew it.
Bitter? Me? Why do you ask?
