It also means that Matija Nastasic keeps his place in the side ahead of Joleon Lescott, so both Lescott and Barry, two players who struggled at times in he competition last season, do not start.
There is also plenty of attacking options in the Dortmund side, who of course opened up with a 1-0 vitory at home to Ajax.
