The late goals perhaps gave the scoreline a more comfortable look than was experienced over the ninety minutes but it was an impressive performance nonetheless and City progressed into the last sixteen where they will face Sporting Lisbon, who overcame Legia Warsaw 1-0 (3-2 on aggregate).
