From goal.com:

Roberto Mancini opted for a strong starting line-up, including the likes of Yaya Toure, Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez, who all featured in City's 1-0 defeat to Al Hilal in their opening pre-season fixture, with starts also handed to trialists Nir Biton and Marcos Lopes.

The Premier League champions showed more energy in the opening minutes than they did against the Saudi Arabian side but failed to carve open the opposition.

By all accounts the game was a far from inspiring one (as you'd expect during pre-season) with a worry being that Vincent Kompany went off injured with a hamstring injury, although Chris Bailey has since tweeted that Kompany joined the squad in training today.

From the twitter reaction it appears as though Nir Biton again impressed, whilst Marcos Lopes and Karim Rekik also caught the eye.

City's next pre-season game is on Friday against Turkish side Besiktas.
