It's Friday and we are just hours from the start of the 2012/13 EPL season. I have some good links for you guys today, from previews to rumours and news.
- Scott Sinclair will refuse to sign a new deal with Swansea
- In a story that should surprise nobody, Adam Johnson talks of his need for first team football
- Dzeko apparantly played through a knee injury in Bosnia's midweek friendly
- The telegraph's Man City 2012/13 preview
- Are Man City stepping up the Daniel De Rossi chase? My God I hope so!
- A small interview on MCFC's always excellent website in which Tevez states his happiness and looks about 10 kilo's lighter.
- RVP signing shows a touch of desperation? So say this opinion piece on the BBC's website. It also has a nice little graph showing RvP's crazy spike in performance over the last 18 months.
- Richards has been ruled out with an ankle injury for up to 10 weeks.
- More on De Rossi. The fee being talked of is £20m plus. He is a great player, but I would be wary of that size of fee for a 29 yo for the same reasons I was wary of paying big money for 29yo van Persie. Dip in performance as age increases and feeling uncomfortable paying those kind of wages to an eventual 34 year old.
