Well, this is it. The long wait is over, the title defense begins now. Mancini seems to be sticking with the normal formation of last season, as opposed to the 3-5-2 which was the primary formation in preseason. Of big note is Jack Rodwell in the starting lineup. Mancini has handed him the start ahead of Nigel De Jong or James Milner despite being at the club for less than a week. This is his chance; let's see what he can do.
