There was no actual confirmation that the £16m transfer of javi Garcia had actually gone through. Twitter has blown up amid rumours that Javi is already a Man City. Until I see a credible source confirming that Javi Garcia is a Man City I won't report it.

We would have to imagine that a club as professional as Man City now are, that a failure to close a transfer fee over a monetary haggle or a failure to register the relevant documents would be longer possible.

I'd expect the player to sign.

It was reported the player is in Manchester and has had a medical. We are surely only waiting for the formalities.
