With Premier League action almost upon us, we saw a return to Roberto Mancini's weekly press conference:

• Sergio Aguero is 'getting better' and may have a chance of featuring this coming week. Mario Balotelli is fine post-operation however with him 'now seeing everything'.
• All the new signings are 'fine' and may be considered for selection, although much depends on today's (Friday's) training session - the first after the international break.
• There are no injury worries reported after all players returned from international duty. Micah Richards is still around two weeks or so from returning.
• Although the trip to Madrid is on the horizon, Mancini will not be taking the trip to the Britannia lightly - perhaps no rotation then - saying Stoke is a difficult game with them being a 'strong team' but it is important that City play their own game.
