FIFA 13 or Football Manager? I'm completely serious; I need feedback.

Arguments for FIFA 13: Quick to play; I can set it aside, especially when my son says, "Give me back the XBox."

Arguments against FIFA 13: I suck. I mean, I'm really bad. I actually hired a tutor (stop that giggling) and he gave me the money back, saying, "You're hopeless."

Arguments for Football Manager: I love the GM stuff more than the actual games. I've actually won a few fantasy leagues.

Arguments against Football Manager: I won those leagues because I put in a load of time into them. I still feel guilty about that.

Am I using this blog to decide what to do with 60-odd dollars of excess cash? I am. Post advice below--your experiences with both games, your offers to tutor me if I get FIFA 13 (I'll pay, dammit); mainly, I'm looking for positives and negatives. Thanks in advance.
